【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthedegreeofaerobicaquaticbiodegradationoffullyformulatedlubricantsortheircomponentsonexposuretoaninoculumunderlaboratoryconditions.Thistestmethodisintendedtospecificallyaddressthedifficultiesassociatedwithtestingwaterinsolublematerialsandcomplexmixturessuchasarefoundinmanylubricants.Thistestmethodisdesignedtobeapplicabletoalllubricantsthatarenotvolatileandarenotinhibitoryatthetestconcentrationtotheorganismspresentintheinoculum.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecifichazardsarediscussedinSection10.
