【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheextenttowhichagreaseretardstherotationofaslow-speedballbearingbymeasuringstartingandrunningtorquesatlowtemperatures(below-20?C(0?F)).Torquemeasurementsarelimitedbythecapacityofthetorque-measuringequipment.Note1-Wheninitiallydeveloped,theoriginaldynamometerscalelimitedthetorquecapacitytoapproximately30000gcm;theoriginaldynamometerscaleisobsolete,however.Thesuggestedreplacementscalehasnotbeenevaluated;itcouldextendthelimittoapproximately75000gcm.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Theexceptionistorquevaluesthataregivenincgs-metricunits,whichareuniversallyusedingreasespecification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardandwarningstatements,see6.1.1,7.2,7.4,8.7,and8.11.
