【摘要】:Thestandardtestmethodisdesignedtoproducemeasurementoftheexplosionpressureandthemaximumexplosionpressureofaquiescentflammablegas/air/inertmixtureinanemptyclosedvolumeatambienttemperatureandpressure.InthisEuropeanStandardtheterm"gas"includesvapours,butnotmists.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotconsidermixturesthatcontainanincreasedcontentofoxygen;ormixturesthatwillreactspontaneouslyatambienttemperatureandpressure.DetonationanddecompositionphenomenaarenotconsideredinthisEuropeanStandard.ThepressuresmeasuredbytheproceduresspecifiedinthisEuropeanStandardarenotapplicabletoflameproofenclosures,thatisenclosuresintendedtowithstandaninternalexplosionandnottotransmitittoanexternalexplosiveatmosphere,oranyotherclosedvolumewheretheinternalgeometrycanresultinpressurepiling.EveninanenclosureofrelativelysimplegeometrythedispositionoftheinternalcomponentscanleadtoexplosionpressuressignificantlyhigherthanthosemeasuredusingthisEuropeanStandard.FlameproofenclosuresshouldbeconstructedandtestedinaccordancewiththerequirementscontainedinEN50018forelectricalequipmentandprEN13463-3fornon-electricalequipment.
